What you will do

• Define product and manufacturing requirements for tooling, automation, workstation layouts, and facilities.
• Analyze and design efficient material flow strategies and future-state movements.
• Develop interfaces and deploy common tooling, processes, and standards across teams and enterprise.
• Lead design, integration, installation, launch, and continuous improvement of equipment and automation projects.
• Coordinate project validation metrics, budgets, timelines, and status reporting with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support to plant operations, resolve integration issues, and ensure Bill of Process/Equipment accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience; 3+ years supporting launches
• Strong collaboration, data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Proficiency with Teamcenter, AutoDesk, Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint)
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, Global Launch Process, and Vehicle Development Process
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within U.S. and internationally

Nice to have

• Experience scoping, designing, integrating, and commissioning GA automation projects
• Work in unionized manufacturing environments
• Advanced knowledge of GA tooling automation concepts and best practices
