What you will do

• Develop and maintain T-SQL stored procedures for data processing and transformation
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases for healthcare analytics workflows
• Build data extraction, transformation, and ETL processes using raw T-SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions and support data quality initiatives
• Utilize myDBR reporting tool for reports and visualizations, and assist in claims processing workflows
• Monitor database performance, participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and handle ad-hoc analysis

Requirements

• Physically located within the US with work authorization not requiring sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL programming, including complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Solid understanding of database design principles, optimization techniques, and data transformation/ETL processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data, medical claims, or prescription claims processing
• Knowledge of myDBR or similar reporting tools, healthcare regulations, and compliance
• Performance tuning, query optimization, data analysis, or business intelligence background
• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Snowflake, cloud platforms, data visualization, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
