What you will do

• Develop and execute strategy balancing ML/MLOps advancements and core software engineering to enhance product capabilities.
• Oversee development, scaling, and optimization of ML platform and software foundations including architecture, APIs, data processing, and infrastructure.
• Guide ML model development, deployment, monitoring, and management integrated with CI/CD and Kubernetes.
• Champion software best practices in design patterns, code quality, security, and performance.
• Build, mentor, and lead distributed teams of software, ML, and data engineers.
• Bridge ML/MLOps and software teams, collaborating with product, UX/UI, and stakeholders for high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Must be able to meet in Hicksville, Long Island twice a week
• At least 5 years technology experience, including leadership in ML/MLOps and software engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in enterprise software architecture, design patterns, modern languages, ML algorithms, data modeling, MLOps across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Proven leadership to inspire multidisciplinary teams with strategic vision balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and business units.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with AI/ML and software background.
