What you will do
- Develop electrical system designs from switchboards to IT racks, including schematics, 2D/3D models, load calculations, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with international, national, and internal standards for safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in project kick-offs, coordination meetings, and cross-functional collaboration with architectural, structural, mechanical, manufacturing, and site teams.
- Review workshop documentation, approve supplier RFQs, specify materials and certifications.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and commissioning to resolve electrical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience; Professional Engineering (PE) License optional.
- Minimum 6 years of mechanical/structural engineering experience.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, EPLAN.
- Knowledge of data center electrical equipment (low voltage switchboard/switchgear, UPS, distribution design).
- Understanding of National Electrical Code; strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team collaboration.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship for visas (E, F-1, H-1, etc.).
