What you will do

• Lead the electrical engineering design for critical HPC data center projects, including generator plants and redundant power architectures.
• Perform Engineer of Record duties and assume responsible charge for electrical discipline deliverables.
• Develop electrical system concepts, design standards, and specifications for high-density computing environments.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and technology teams to ensure integrated and resilient system design.
• Oversee construction, commissioning, and perform field investigations and site assessments.
• Utilize AI tools daily to accelerate design work, analyze power data, and improve engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or EIT credential if PE is not yet obtained).
• Minimum 7+ years experience designing electrical systems for mission-critical facilities or data centers.
• Expert knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, and IEEE.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD MEP for electrical design and BIM.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Nice to have

• Programming or scripting experience, preferably in Python.
• Knowledge of LEED principles and their application to data center environments.
