What you will do

• Provide technical and execution guidance on R&D tasks to perception team members.
• Research, design, and develop perception algorithms for object detection, localization, mapping, fusion, and multi-object tracking.
• Prototype and deploy robust perception algorithms on hirify.global's vehicle fleet.
• Develop systems for multimodal sensor fusion and calibration using cameras, LiDARs, GNSS, IMUs, and RaDARs.
• Invent new algorithms, tools, and models; develop simulations to identify virtual vs. real-world performance discrepancies.
• Contribute research ideas, conduct data analysis, lead algorithm design discussions, and stay current with computer vision research.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Computer Vision.
• At least 4+ years of non-academic work experience.
