What you will do

• Architect multi-modal 3D object detection models utilizing camera, LiDAR, and Radar data.
• Build and maintain robust data collection and evaluation pipelines.
• Develop a proprietary multi-modal dataset for training and evaluation purposes.
• Train, deploy, and monitor 2D/3D object detection models in production environments.
• Build and execute the strategic roadmap for the perception system.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field.
• 7+ years of focused experience in architecting and deploying 2D/3D object detection models.
• Proven experience with the entire perception stack, including sensing, preprocessing, detection, and tracking.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Ability to identify system gaps and lead complex cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
• Comprehensive full-stack autonomous vehicle (AV) knowledge.
• Specific experience in architecting integrated perception systems (detection & tracking).
• Publications in major conferences such as CVPR, ICRA, NeurIPS, IJCAI, or AAAI.
