Salary: $162,000 - $260,000 base

What you will do
- Research and develop state-of-the-art deep learning and ML models to improve perception in challenging scenarios and degraded sensor conditions.
- Address complex autonomy challenges including object detection, actor tracking, action recognition, and semantic scene understanding.
- Guide software development from initial prototype to production deployment on a real-time autonomous vehicle platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve failure modes using on-road and simulated testing.
- Build and scale robust ML pipelines to facilitate rapid experimentation and large-scale training and testing.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of research-based or professional experience with C++ and Python.
- Strong foundation in ML, deep learning, computer vision, recursive state estimation, and optimization.
- Strong publication record at top-tier robotics/CV conferences or significant industry experience in self-driving technology.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Advanced production-level knowledge of C++.
- Experience working with 3D data, including LiDAR, Radar, and point clouds.
- Experience deploying CV/ML models at scale across large physical fleets.
