TL;DR

Autonomous Vehicle Operator: Monitor and support Autonomous Yard Trucks in real-time during operations with an accent on troubleshooting HW/SW issues and reviewing log data for system failures. Focus on isolating, tracking, documenting issues, updating knowledge bases, and interacting with customers.

Location: On-site in Dayton, OH. Must have valid U.S. driver's license, clean driving history, and pass criminal background check. Able to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends/holidays and travel up to 2 months.

What you will do

• Monitor Autonomous Yard Trucks in real-time during operations
• Provide troubleshooting for hardware/software issues on prototype vehicles
• Review log data of system failures and autonomy disengagements
• Isolate, track, document, and triage issues systematically
• Update knowledge base and diagnostic trees for efficiency
• Interact with customers as ambassador for hirify.global technology

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with 5+ years driving experience
• Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving history (MVR check)
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written/verbal communication
• Strong technical aptitude; familiarity with Linux, Google Suite, Jira, Slack, Git preferred
• Experience with automotive systems, safety, procedures, software testing
• Detail-oriented with safety focus; work in close quarters/outdoors up to 10 hours/day
• Pass safety/performance checkpoints and criminal background check
• Able to use laptop in moving vehicle up to 10 hours/day
