What you will do

• Safely operate autonomous electric trucks for customer and R&D operations.
• Remain alert and attentive while monitoring vehicles during autonomous mode.
• Perform safety checks and log platform performance feedback for engineering analysis.
• Troubleshoot and escalate system issues and operational blockers.
• Provide input on the remote interface and operating procedures to product and engineering teams.
• Maintain knowledge of the autonomous system and utilize tracking tools like Jira and Fleetio.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience driving commercial trucks.
• Current, non-expired CDL license (class A).
• Clean driving record with 0 violation points.
• Right to work in the US and must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must live within 45 minutes of downtown Austin.
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience working with autonomous trucks or commercial heavy-duty fleets.
• Experience as a truck driver trainer or instructor.
• Background in operations, technology, or automotive sectors.
• Proficiency in G-suite or other office tools.
