TL;DR

Technical Program Manager (Hardware): Managing development of industrial and rugged computers, edge systems, and servers with an accent on cross-functional leadership, budgets, and on-time delivery. Focus on overseeing electrical, mechanical, and firmware designs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving products through all development stages.

Onsite presence required at South Burlington, VT office. Candidates able to relocate or commute encouraged to apply.

What you will do

  • Drive end-to-end program leadership from concept through production using gate-staged processes.
  • Develop and manage project plans including schedules, budgets, sourcing, and prototype strategies.
  • Engage stakeholders, foster cross-functional collaboration, and provide transparent progress updates.
  • Own risk management, mitigation strategies, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
  • Make strategic technical decisions on requirements, complexity, cost, and time-to-market.
  • Optimize interdisciplinary workflows and implement process improvements for faster development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience delivering large, complex projects on time and on budget.
  • B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science; Master’s degree a strong plus.
  • Deep technical knowledge in computer hardware, electrical design, mechanical engineering, and system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, risk mitigation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities; experience with Jira, Smartsheet.
  • PMP or comparable certification required.
