What you will do
- Drive hardware, firmware planning, execution, and cross-functional integration for complex health sensing features from concept to launch.
- Coordinate system-level integration and test plans to validate end-to-end sensing behavior and ensure HW/FW readiness.
- Partner with product managers to translate requirements into HW/FW scope, surface tradeoffs, and align priorities.
- Build schedules, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and clear roadblocks across engineering teams.
- Support NPI build planning and execution for sensing components.
- Communicate progress to executives and manage key external vendors for sensor development and manufacturing.
- Own HW/FW and system integration testing standards for reliable sensing performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years driving hardware and firmware programs through full product lifecycle, including integration with software and manufacturing.
- Proven track record shipping products with sensing components (consumer electronics/health tech preferred).
- Strong technical depth in EE, ME, firmware; able to drive architecture and tradeoffs.
- Expertise in NPI, prototyping, validation, scalable production, and Agile software development.
- Experience collaborating with research, science, and design teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Advanced proficiency in PM tools (Linear, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
- Thrives in ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and global cross-timezone programs.

- Experience with regulated medical devices (ISO 13485, FDA).
- Knowledge of advanced health sensors and ultra-low-power development.
