What you will do
- Review and normalize client profit & loss statements, calculate EBITDA, EBIT, net income, and identify add-backs.
- Assist with valuation assessments using internal frameworks and tools.
- Analyze Letters of Intent (LOIs) financially and model transaction outcomes including purchase price, earn-outs, and payout scenarios.
- Support financial due diligence by responding to buyer requests and organizing financial materials.
- Prepare financial exhibits for CIMs and presentations, maintain spreadsheets and valuation tools.
- Collaborate with advisors, analysts, and interns to ensure smooth deal flow.
Requirements
- Associateβs or Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business finance fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze P&Ls and perform EBITDA calculations.
- Comfortable working in Excel; advanced modeling not required.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable asking questions, willingness to learn M&A concepts.
- Computer/laptop: core i5/7th gen+ or AMD equiv, 16GB RAM, camera, noise-canceling headset, dual monitor.
- Stable internet: 25 Mbps upload/download; back-up power/internet required.
