What you will do
- Own product delivery from technical strategy to execution in a high-growth environment
- Make key technical decisions balancing innovation, velocity, and tech debt
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3 Android and 3 iOS engineers
- Establish performance objectives and foster cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, QA, and Backend
- Continuously improve workflows, tools, processes, and engineering culture
- Drive AI integration and provide technical direction influencing the company
Requirements
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
- Strong track record building and scaling high-traffic B2C consumer apps (social, media, or entertainment)
- Proven experience leading both iOS and Android teams in fast-paced environments
- Deep technical expertise in mobile architectures, performance optimization, and best practices
- Product mindset with passion for exceptional user experiences
- Data-driven leadership using metrics, analytics, and business impact
- Hands-on technical contributions and strong cross-functional communication
Nice to have
- Expertise in streaming video, media frameworks, and real-time content delivery
- Experience with AI/ML integration in mobile apps
- Knowledge of Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, Kotlin Coroutines, Combine
- A/B testing frameworks and conversion optimization
- Background in startup or high-growth environments
- Track record scaling engineering teams
- Open-source contributions or community involvement
