What you will do

• Own the technical performance and reliability of Booking and Checkout flows to directly impact conversion and revenue.
• Drive the evolution of the booking architecture toward scalable, resilient, and observable services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Ensure high-quality API design to support Web and Mobile applications, enabling fast and safe feature delivery.
• Manage engineering budgets, plan staffing levels, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to detect and reduce booking errors while improving system observability and alerting.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of the ecommerce environment, specifically booking and checkout flows.
• Solid background in API-driven architectures and operating in revenue-critical environments.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets related to system performance and booking errors.
