Local Coordinator - International Student Program

TL;DR

Local Coordinator (International Student Program): Recruit host families for international high school students and supervise their stays in local communities with an accent on community involvement and student advocacy. Location: Fully remote - must reside in the United States

What you will do

• Recruit host families within your local community for international students attending public high schools.
• Connect students with host families and supervise students throughout their program stay.
• Act as a mediator and advocate for students, reaching out regularly to students, host families, and schools.
• Compile monthly progress reports based on recent experiences and discussions.
• Participate in community outreach to recruit additional host families.

Requirements

• Proven experience in volunteer management or related fields
• Strong background in education, social work, or community outreach preferred
• Experience working with students or educational programs is an asset
• Excellent recruiting skills to attract diverse volunteers
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
• Driver's license required
