What you will do

• Conduct technical due diligence for investment firms, identifying tech strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Assess software engineering organizations and create targeted improvement plans.
• Design and implement solutions like Agile transformations from scratch.
• Drive projects independently after initial apprenticeship, including collaboration and project management.
• Mentor junior developers and engineers while partnering with client technical leads.
• Participate in hands-on implementation using relevant processes and technologies.

Requirements

• 15+ years shipping software products/services in roles like Product Management, Program Management, Architect, Developer, QA, Release Manager, DevOps, Product Support, or Professional Services
• Strong technical acumen in at least one key area: Product Management, Program Management, Software Architecture, Development, QA, Release Management, DevOps, Product Support, or Professional Services
• Ability to work remotely, self-directed, and collaborate effectively in remote or in-person settings
• Action-oriented, passionate about building high-performing teams, and willing to learn new areas

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of Project Management tools (TFS, Jira), Development technologies (C#, Java), Build tools (TFS, Jenkins, TeamCity), Test tools (TFS, HP QC, Selenium), Deployment tools (MS Release Management, Octopus, Chef)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
