What you will do

• Lead and scale the Product Compliance function, setting strategy and standards for responsible growth in lending and payments products.
• Embed compliance into the product lifecycle from concept to launch and governance, integrating regulatory requirements early.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Marketing to guide regulatory interpretation and enable compliant innovation.
• Modernize compliance with AI-enabled workflows, automated monitoring, and intelligent tooling for marketing review, risk assessment, and regulatory changes.
• Oversee advisory for product launches, changes, and issues; investigate root causes and strengthen controls.
• Represent Compliance with bank partners, regulators, and leadership; foster accountability and leadership development.

Requirements

• 10+ years in compliance advisory, product compliance, or regulatory risk in fintech, consumer lending, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Proven experience leading product compliance or regulatory advisory teams in fast-moving tech organizations.
• Deep knowledge of consumer protection regulations, lending, payments, and fintech frameworks.
• Ability to partner with product and engineering during development.
• Experience building or scaling technology-enabled compliance programs.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI-enabled compliance tooling, automation, or agent-based workflows.
• Familiarity with technology to improve compliance review speed, quality, and scalability.
