What you will do
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver features across Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and React stack.
- Partner with Product on planning, prioritization, roadmap execution, and SDLC health.
- Maintain release predictability, quality, and developer experience while collaborating on architecture and technical initiatives.
- Coordinate across engineering, product, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Support staffing, hiring, onboarding, and vendor relationships.
- Champion best practices, coding standards, testing, CI/CD improvements, and foster inclusive culture.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years engineering experience, 3–5+ years in leadership.
- Track record leading teams and delivering high-quality software at scale.
- Strong foundation in Java/Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, React.
- Experience improving SDLC, release management, engineering workflows.
- Ability to partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with SOC 2 compliance (GxP a plus); familiarity with semantic technologies (Jena, RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL) or willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
