What you will do

  • Lead and support a distributed team of in-house and contract CMS developers.
  • Conduct performance reviews, one-on-ones, coaching, and mentoring for team growth.
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and contractor relationships.
  • Serve as technical leader on CMS projects, aligning decisions with product vision.
  • Meet clients and stakeholders to advance projects, provide staffing, estimates, and delivery oversight.
  • Drive department goals, evolve CMS product offerings, and engage with Drupal community.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or managing technical teams with strong record of motivation and support.
  • 5+ years in web development, including CMS platforms (Drupal strongly preferred).
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with professional services/consulting environments (public sector a plus).
  • Versatile thinking to balance projects, technical vision, and team dynamics.
  • Commitment to community engagement and continuous learning.
