What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and improve edge routers, core switches, and firewalls in a global production network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve medium/high-complexity incidents, coordinating with transit providers, IXs, and data centers.
• Provide L1/L2 (partial L3) support to customers and teams, ensuring SLA adherence and clear communication.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Plan network expansions, topology changes, and capacity improvements.
• Maintain network documentation, monitoring systems, alerts, and thresholds.

Requirements

• Advanced English (B2+) communication skills, written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Networking fundamentals: Layer 2/3 (MAC, VLAN, Trunking, Spanning Tree), IP (ARP, Subnetting, ACLs, DHCP), Routing (BGP, OSPF), Transport (TCP, UDP, SNMP, NTP, SSH), tools (Ping, Traceroute).
• Hands-on troubleshooting in production environments.
• Cisco CCNA certification (required).
• Strong prioritization, calm under pressure, clear communication, proactive mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, or multi-vendor environments.
• ISP, data center, or large-scale infrastructure experience.
• Network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, LibreNMS).
• Direct interaction with carriers and transit providers.
