What you will do

• Manage incidents, requests, and perform advanced root cause analysis for LTE outages while maintaining high ticket quality.
• Develop RF propagation models, perform frequency optimisation, PCI/RSI planning, interference analysis, and create RAN capacity plans for AHS, telemetry, CCTV, IoT.
• Analyse drive-test data using TEMS Pocket/Discovery, LTE KPIs, and identify issues like overshooting, coverage holes, interference.
• Produce optimisation recommendations, conduct remote troubleshooting, and guide field teams on RF surveys, antenna alignment, LTE moves.
• Optimise Cambium PTP/PTMP backhaul links, perform path studies, Fresnel checks, and provide remote alignment assistance.
• Collaborate with mining teams to adjust RF designs for pit progression, prepare design documents, heatmaps, BOMs, and support testing.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5+ years of LTE RAN planning, RF engineering, or optimisation experience
• Experience with Private LTE/5G SA networks in industrial deployments and common RF planning tools (HTZ, Atoll, Mentum)
• Hands-on with TEMS Investigation/Discovery for drive-test analysis, Cambium Networks (PTP 670/700, PMP 450i)
• Strong understanding of LTE RAN concepts (EPC/E-UTRAN, PCI, SINR/RSRP, VoLTE, CA), networking (VLANs, routing, QoS)
• Experience with GIS applications (Global Mapper, ArcGIS), ticketing tools like ServiceNow
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• Ability to work effectively with field teams from a remote location, supporting remote sites like mining

• Scripting or automation (Python, SQL) for performance reporting
• LTE/RAN certification (Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco)

• Knowledge of mining technologies (AHS, fleet management)
