What you will do

• Provide Level 3 support and maintain a highly scalable, resilient global network.
• Lead network redesign initiatives to optimize performance and cost.
• Manage network projects end-to-end and support capacity management.
• Mentor Operations Engineers and provide technical training to staff.
• Resolve major network and Layer 3 customer incidents.
• Evaluate, test, and certify new network hardware, systems, and software.

Requirements

• Production experience with IS-IS, BGP, MPLS Traffic Engineering, and MPLS Layer 2/3 VPNs.
• Experience operating optical networks, particularly with DWDM and ROADM systems.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms.
• Deep knowledge of SDN and cloud-based networking concepts.
• Experience with the Opengear platform for out-of-band management.
• Experience managing network hardware installations in third-party data centers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux.
• Scripting skills in Perl or Python.
