Location: Remote within the United States with preference for candidates in Utah able to come into the office 1-2 days per week. Not hiring in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, or other US Territories.

Salary: $120,000 - $165,000

What you will do

• Lead and grow engineering teams delivering mission-critical software to dental practices
• Oversee onshore and nearshore engineers, influencing practices, execution, and outcomes organization-wide
• Drive clarity, accountability, and alignment through communication of goals and priorities
• Handle hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development
• Establish standards for software engineering, QA, and project delivery
• Partner with Product and UX for customer-centric solutions aligned with strategy
• Monitor project scope, risks, budgets, and promote DevOps, CI/CD, and test-driven development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 7+ years software development with .NET stack (C#, C++, WinForms, WPF, MS SQL), 1+ years people management
• Proven success leading distributed/hybrid teams at scale
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD
• Strong leadership through influence, conflict resolution, consensus-building
• Clear communicator thriving in collaboration; analytical strategic thinker balancing tech debt and delivery

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs, Java, AWS
