What you will do

• Provide one-to-one support and manage the 24/7 emergency helpline.
• Collaborate with external agencies including Police, Education, GPs, and Social Services for safeguarding.
• Conduct risk and needs assessments to develop individual safety and support plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with data protection legislation.
• Manage safe house access to ensure it is only utilized by authorized individuals.

Requirements

• The post holder must be female (as per Discrimination (Jersey) Law 2013).
• 5 'O' Levels/GCSEs, including Maths and English.
• Adult and Children Safeguarding training (SPB foundation level minimum).
• Availability for flexible rota cover, specifically evening (night shifts) and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Qualification or training in supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
• Trauma-informed care training.
• Knowledge of social benefits, Legal Aid, Social Housing, and Immigration.
• Fluency in a second language.
