Cyber Security Manager

TL;DR

Cyber Security Manager (InfoSec): Managing security delivery and accreditation for the NEC business and customers with an accent on security assurance, compliance, and vulnerability remediation. Focus on producing accreditation documentation, responding to security questionnaires, and managing security incidents.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (UK). Must have pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK and be able to achieve and maintain NPPV L3 and SC clearance.

What you will do

• Manage the delivery of security and accreditation for the business and its customers.
• Produce and maintain security assurance documentation required for accreditation.
• Coordinate security testing, create remediation plans, and drive the resolution of vulnerabilities.
• Provide written responses to procurement bids and security questionnaires.
• Support security incident management and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct security assessments and audits on people, processes, and technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an IT security role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Experience writing comprehensive responses to security bids or questionnaires.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and business outcomes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NPPV L3 and SC clearance.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Exposure to penetration testing processes and reports.
• Experience working in shared environments with multiple tenants.
• Experience with solutions requiring formal independent accreditations.
