Content Security Manager

TL;DR

Content Security Manager (Media): Safeguarding content from production through to broadcast with an accent on vendor security assessments, risk management, and compliance. Focus on conducting assessments, managing remediation projects, evaluating workflows, and liaising with partners to protect content in a global ecosystem.

Location: 1 day a week at UKTV office (Hammersmith) and hybrid at TVC (London). Travel within role – Yes, may be required on ad hoc basis (UK and International).

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,441.

What you will do

• Lead information security activities for UKTV.
• Own the vendor assessment programme for hirify.global.
• Conduct content security assessments of vendors and partners, reviewing physical, digital, and organisational security.
• Support security assessments including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and archiving.
• Evaluate and test workflows, processes, and controls to identify risks.
• Manage vendor remediation projects, revalidate compliance, and escalate significant risks.
• Maintain Content Security risk register and KPIs.
• Assist in investigations of content threats and collaborate with brand protection teams.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of television and film production and post-production technologies, services, and workflows.
• Proven experience working within TV, film, or media production environments.
• Extensive knowledge of information security principles and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidance, and operational procedures.
• Familiarity with recognised standards including ISO 27001, MPA, and the Trusted Partner Network.
• Demonstrated experience producing security reports, including findings, risk assessments, and recommendations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of private network delivery mechanisms e.g. set-top box, satellite or cable.
• Experience of working in an organisation that has a global focus and a wide network of partners.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM (or equivalent).
