What you will do
- Supervise daily production to meet schedules safely and to quality specs, communicating goals and escalating issues.
- Lead and develop manufacturing teams through training, coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering accountability.
- Execute production plans, manage staffing/resources, ensure material availability, and track Plan vs. Actual performance.
- Drive quality compliance, nonconformance investigations, CAPAs, and Good Documentation Practices.
- Maintain safety standards via inspections and promote continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and standardization.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s in Engineering/Manufacturing preferred; 3–5 years manufacturing experience, 1–2 years supervisory/lead in medical devices/regulated industry.
- Experience leading small-medium production teams.
- Knowledge of medical device regs (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, GMP).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
