What you will do

• Evaluate new ingredients and technologies, proposing dosages for consumer benefits in hair and skin health products
• Develop unique formulations by matching root causes and mechanisms of action with innovative dietary supplement ingredients
• Lead claim substantiation strategy, synthesizing research into compliant, differentiating claims and dossiers
• Collaborate with vendors, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to source exclusive ingredients and advance R&D
• Provide scientific rationale for narratives, stay ahead of trends, competitors, and regulatory landscapes
• Communicate complex data via presentations, support patents, and manage multiple projects efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Nutrition Science, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology or related
• 5-10 years in dietary supplement industry with proven formulation launches and claim substantiation
• Substantial network in functional ingredient suppliers and deep knowledge of their capabilities
• Working knowledge of U.S. dietary supplement regulations; international a plus
• Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a team
• Occasional travel for conferences and meetings
