What you will do

• Lead a team of 6-10 engineers, ensuring execution and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and brokerage operations to align with changing priorities.
• Act as Scrum Master to monitor team productivity and remove technical roadblocks.
• Mentor and coach engineers to take full responsibility for engineering designs and production code.
• Partner with Recruiting to build well-rounded and inclusive engineering teams.
• Contribute to organizational improvements in hiring, performance reviews, and project management.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer developing core business systems.
• 1+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of leading productive teams.
• Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers into top performers.
• Strong understanding of team dynamics and passion for collaborative problem solving.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Palo Alto or San Francisco, CA.
