VP, Tax and Treasury

TL;DR

VP, Tax and Treasury (Medtech): Develop and execute global tax strategy, compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, and treasury operations aligned with business objectives in a regulated medical device environment. Focus on advising on M&A tax implications, SOX compliance, cash management, liquidity, debt, FX risk, and leading a global tax and treasury team.

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $254,000 - $330,000

What you will do

• Develop and execute global tax strategy, planning, and optimization including R&D credits, IP, and international tax.
• Oversee tax compliance, reporting under ASC 740, SEC filings, audits, and global transfer pricing documentation.
• Manage treasury operations including cash management, liquidity, debt, FX risk, intercompany funding, and corporate insurance.
• Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and partner with auditors and external advisors.
• Advise leadership on tax implications of M&A, reorganizations, and supply chain changes.
• Lead and develop a global tax and treasury team, incorporating software tools and AI for efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of corporate tax, public accounting, and/or treasury experience
• CPA, JD, or MST preferred
• Strong knowledge of IRS tax code, global tax laws, ASC 740, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing preferred
