Salary: $180,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do
- Manage senior-level internal and external client relationships, conducting primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns.
- Evaluate partnership agreements and manage Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 704b accounts.
- Provide innovative tax planning and compliance expertise specifically within Sub-chapter K Partnership taxation.
- Market, design, and implement tax-planning strategies while managing engagement budgets and billing.
- Oversee multiple projects, coordinate work plans, and collaborate with other service lines and external vendors.
- Develop and retain talent by training, coaching, and supervising Associates and Senior Associates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in tax compliance or consulting within public accounting.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, joint venture/non-corporate entity tax returns, and Sub-chapter K partnership taxation.
- Proven experience advising Asset Management, Private Equity, and Hedge Fund clients.
- Proficiency in Thomson Reuters GoSystem, Platform K suite, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Must be based in the same geographic location as the Edison, NJ office to qualify for permitted telecommuting.
