What you will do

• Architect unified API and control plane services abstracting complexity across Azure Local, OpenShift, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build custom controllers, operators, and orchestration logic integrating with Azure Arc and OpenShift APIs.
• Engineer Zero-Touch Provisioning workflows for bare-metal compute nodes from bootstrap to production.
• Integrate hardware telemetry for health monitoring in the platform control plane.
• Design Golang and Python services automating provisioning and lifecycle of Juniper SRX firewalls and switches via Netconf/YANG.
• Develop intent-based networking workflows, state auditing, PKI management, secure attestation, and real-time compliance remediation.

Requirements

• US Citizen
• 8+ years professional development in backend systems, distributed architecture, platform engineering, or network automation.
• Expert Golang proficiency (5+ years), building system daemons, control planes, or high-performance APIs.
• Experience provisioning network devices like Juniper SRX using Netconf, RESTconf, or gRPC.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), or OpenShift.
• Deep Linux systems programming, networking stack, bare-metal troubleshooting; Docker, OCI, L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IPSec).
• Security-as-code with PKI, mTLS, Zero-Trust (SPIFFE/SPIRE).

Nice to have

• Custom Kubernetes Operators or Controllers.
