What you will do

  • Own and grow a local territory by developing and executing outbound sales strategy focused on net-new revenue and category expansion.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market engagement.
  • Identify, prioritize, and win new business with local and regional advertisers, leading full sales cycles from outreach to close.
  • Expand existing accounts and translate market opportunities into revenue through strategic thinking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to lead deal execution across internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in sales, specifically digital media/news industry with emphasis on outbound/new business development
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets through new logo acquisition
  • Strong presence and confidence selling to senior decision-makers
  • Experience developing territory or category-level sales strategies
  • Understanding of digital media, online marketing technology, and competitive landscape
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to lead deal execution
  • Existing relationships within local/regional advertiser and agency ecosystems preferred
  • Highly motivated, resilient, energized by prospecting and closing; willingness to travel
