What you will do

• Collaborate with physicists and QEC specialists to develop, simulate, and experimentally validate QEC codes
• Implement robust software components, integrate into hirify.global’s software stack, and write comprehensive tests
• Work with stakeholders on near- and long-term quantum applications, including error correction resource estimation
• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough code reviews for quality and maintainability
• Provide software mentorship and drive adherence to best practices

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with quantum computing specialization
• 5+ years hands-on software development with C, C++, Python, or similar compiled language
• 3+ years quantum computing or quantum information experience, including at least one modern quantum SDK (Qiskit, Q#, CUDA-Q, Stim)
• Competence with Git, build tools, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with software testing principles: unit, integration, end-to-end
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaborative team skills, excellent communication of complex concepts
