What you will do

• Mount chips to copper baseplates using adhesives, fixtures, and curing processes
• Perform hand wire bonding and operate manual/automated wire bonders
• Micro-solder fine-pitch PCB connectors and jumpers
• Handle, align, and secure parts under microscope with precision tools
• Clean, dismount, package, and store samples; conduct inspections and tests
• Record work in logs, maintain tools/workstations, and contribute to process optimizations
• Collaborate with Lab Operations, Packaging, and Engineering teams on priorities and feedback

Requirements

• 5+ years practical skills and technical knowledge; 3+ years in microelectronics, precision assembly, or lab work
• Proven dexterity for repetitive precision tasks under microscope
• Experience with micro-soldering, fine-pitch connectors; wire bonding or aptitude to learn
• Safe chemical handling, PPE use, fume-hood operation, ESD practices
• Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, procedural discipline
• Ability to collaborate, communicate issues, learn, and take ownership
