What you will do

• Prepare and install test chips, taking them from wafer to functioning processor.
• Conduct electrical testing on wafers and chips using custom-built and industry-standard equipment.
• Develop and maintain processes to ensure effective preparation and installation of test chips.
• Handle liquid cryogens (helium and nitrogen) and compressed gases safely and efficiently.
• Screen parts for magnetic contamination at cryogenic temperatures.
• Maintain the fleet of dilution refrigerators and cryogenic test systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of demonstrated practical skills and applied technical knowledge.
• Experience operating instrumentation in an engineering, physics, or industrial lab.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new procedures quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse cross-disciplinary team.
• Excellent computer skills and some programming experience.
