What you will do
- Lead architecture, design, and development of digital/analog electronics for physiologic monitoring devices compliant with medical safety standards.
- Define hardware technical direction, design standards, and architectural approaches aligned with system requirements and platform strategies.
- Provide hands-on leadership in schematic design, component selection, circuit simulation, tolerance analysis, and PCBA development including signal/power integrity and EMC/ESD.
- Lead electrical bring-up, debugging, characterization, verification of prototypes and production hardware.
- Collaborate with systems, software, algorithm, test, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for cohesive designs.
- Support quality, regulatory activities with documentation, risk analysis, and verification for medical device submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's +7 years, Master's +5 years, or PhD +3 years relevant experience
- Deep expertise in digital, analog, mixed-signal circuit design for high-reliability systems
- Proven experience defining hardware architecture for complex products/platforms
- Strong hands-on skills in schematic capture, simulation, PCBA layout collaboration, signal/power integrity, EMC/ESD
- Experience leading hardware bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, verification/validation
- Work in regulated environments; medical device development preferred
- Strong technical review, mentoring, communication skills
