Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer (Analog IC Design): Designing and developing high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for consumer and embedded applications with an accent on data converters, power management, and amplifiers. Focus on the full IC development lifecycle from architecture and transistor-level design to silicon validation and production.
Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX / Chandler, AZ / Greensboro, NC). Candidates must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license.

What you will do
- Design analog and mixed-signal IC blocks including data converters, power management, and amplifiers using advanced CMOS processes.
- Define architectures and create behavioral and system models using Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog.
- Verify circuit and chip-level performance using Spectre and mixed-signal methodologies.
- Lead layout implementation, post-layout simulation, and performance optimization to ensure DRC/LVS closure.
- Perform silicon bring-up, lab validation, debug, and post-silicon characterization.
- Collaborate with digital, layout, and systems engineering teams to deliver robust, manufacturable designs.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering: Bachelor's (10+ years exp), Master's (8+ years exp), or PhD (6+ years exp).
- Deep expertise in CMOS analog and mixed-signal IC design and the full development flow.
- Proficiency with analog modeling and simulation tools such as Matlab, Spectre, and Verilog-A.
- Solid understanding of device physics, noise analysis, stability, and control theory.
- Hands-on lab experience with silicon debug and validation.
- Must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license (cannot sponsor export licenses).
Nice to have
- Experience with inductive or capacitive power conversion architectures.
- Knowledge of Delta-sigma ADCs/DACs and discrete-time or continuous-time signal processing.
- Experience with PLLs, LNAs, and audio-oriented analog blocks.
- Familiarity with reliability topics including ESD and latch-up.
- Experience across multiple CMOS process nodes and geometry scales.
