What you will do

• Develop analog and mixed-signal IC blocks, including data converters, power management, and amplifiers, using advanced CMOS processes.
• Define architectures and create behavioral and system models using Matlab, Verilog-A, and SystemVerilog.
• Perform circuit and chip-level simulations and verification using Spectre and mixed-signal methodologies.
• Lead layout implementation, post-layout simulation, and performance optimization to ensure DRC/LVS closure.
• Conduct silicon bring-up, lab validation, debug, and post-silicon characterization.
• Collaborate with digital, layout, test, and systems engineering teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant IC design experience: BS (7+ years), MS (5+ years), or PhD (3+ years).
• Strong foundation in CMOS analog and mixed-signal IC design and the complete design flow.
• Proficiency with analog modeling and simulation tools (Matlab, Spectre, Verilog-A, SystemVerilog).
• Hands-on lab experience with silicon debug and validation.
• Must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license.

Nice to have

• Experience with power conversion architectures (inductive or capacitive).
• Knowledge of Delta-sigma ADCs/DACs, PLLs, LNAs, and audio-oriented analog blocks.
• Familiarity with reliability topics such as ESD and latch-up.
• Experience across multiple CMOS process nodes and geometry scales.
