What you will do

• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and marketing teams to define platform architectures, board designs, schedules, and cost targets.
• Develop system/board architectures, evaluate and select components, and create engineering documentation.
• Implement designs via schematic entry, FPGA code, and source code; support layout and software integration.
• Assist system test, compliance, regulatory testing, and manufacturing for product qualification and production ramp-up.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5-10+ years of experience with platform/test card specification, design, debug, and lab bring-up.
• Strength in digital board design, basic signal integrity, board layout/schematic tools (Cadence, ORCAD, Mentor Graphics).
• Expertise in system-level debug, root cause analysis, and lab equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cadence Concept, Allegro CAD, board power distribution.
• FPGAs, PLDs, Verilog, programming (C, Python, Visual Basic, Perl, TCL, RTL).
• Signal/power integrity simulation, timing analysis, functional simulation.
• Completion of multiple board/system development projects.
