Senior Radar Software Engineer (Embedded)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design and maintain real-time embedded software in C++ within a Linux environment.
• Develop low-latency, deterministic systems meeting strict timing and reliability requirements.
• Interface embedded software with FPGAs using memory-mapped I/O, DMA, and custom protocols.
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, and systems teams to define software/hardware interfaces.
• Implement prototype radar algorithms and processing concepts into production-ready software.
• Analyze radar data and root-cause anomalies from customers and operations.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ and deep understanding of real-time constraints (latency, determinism, scheduling).
• Solid grasp of embedded systems fundamentals including memory, interrupts, DMA, and timing.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to visually communicate technical designs.

Nice to have

• Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) and/or RF sensors and systems (radio, radar).
• Experience using Modern C++ (C++11 or later).
