Focus on navigating regulatory landscapes, securing permits from AHJs, and scaling the physical logistics network.

Location: Houston, Texas, USA. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Frequent travel (75%+) required within the Sunbelt region (Texas, Arizona) and to head offices in California.

What you will do

• Manage construction projects and site infrastructure installments, ensuring schedule and cost targets are met.
• Develop and lead pre-construction strategies to streamline entitlements and permits.
• Build and maintain relationships with City Managers, City Council members, and inspectors to facilitate smooth approvals.
• Collaborate with land use counsel and legal teams to create pathways for drone delivery in evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Source and manage general contractors and subcontractors across construction, assembly, and electrical trades.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with pre-construction and construction phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in real estate development or construction.
• 4+ years of experience working with external design teams (Architectural, Structural, Civil, MEPs).
• Proven ability to manage entitlements and permits for infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and construction software such as Bluebeam and Procore.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
