Salary: $206,000 — $283,800 USD

What you will do

• Develop and execute a communication strategy that defines the COO’s voice, focusing on operational excellence and business impact.
• Lead communication workstreams for company-wide shifts, re-organizations, and strategic COO updates.
• Position the COO as an industry authority on Identity and SaaS operations through keynotes, speeches, blogs, and board presentations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, Global Communications, People, Marketing, and Legal teams.
• Use metrics to validate communication strategies and ensure organizational alignment with the company's Vision, Measures, and Targets (VMT).
• Identify and mitigate communication risks related to business operations while handling sensitive internal matters confidentially.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of relevant communications experience, ideally owning C-level thought leadership in a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
• Proven experience acting as a strategic advisor and partner to senior executives.
• Exceptional executive presence with the judgment to navigate high-profile, confidential projects.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent priorities on tight timelines.
• Versatility in packaging content for written communications, presentations, speeches, and video scripts.
• Must be based in San Francisco (In-office requirement).
