What you will do

  • Drive operational sales and achieve budget targets and KPIs for the Canadian professional services market.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through an inclusive and equitable approach to client engagement.
  • Perform technical engineering and consulting work independently or as part of a collaborative project team.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations through transparent and culturally aware communication.
  • Maintain a billable target of 50-75% of total working time.
  • Lead training, coaching, and sales pipeline management to ensure consistency and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical consulting and business development.
  • Expertise in fire protection engineering, security, risk-informed engineering, forensics, process safety, accessibility, or healthcare emergency management.
  • Strong understanding of professional services business processes and business development strategies.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills for technical proposals.
  • Location: Based in Canada (Dartmouth, Mississauga, or Ottawa).
  • Professional Engineering License or equivalent credential preferred.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual proficiency in French.
