Senior Director, Safety (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, with coverage across Europe, London, UK, and Palo Alto, CA; regular travel across European sites is required.

Salary: US $165,000–$200,000; Europe €145,000–€175,000; United Kingdom £125,000–£150,000, plus potential equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the safety strategy, standards, and management system across all hirify.global projects.
• Provide functional leadership to safety leads embedded in project teams across sites and countries.
• Set contractor safety requirements from prequalification through site execution.
• Run audit and assurance programs across active construction sites.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure lessons learned improve future project delivery.
• Build leading-indicator reporting and drive safety considerations into early design reviews.

Requirements

• Essential experience leading safety on data center or mission-critical construction programs.
• Recognized safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing safety across multiple concurrent projects or countries.
• Strong record managing contractor safety on major construction sites.
• Ability to influence project leaders and executives, supported by a practical, data-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel regularly across European sites.
