What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of complex Python backend services
• Design and build scalable, production-ready systems focused on quality, performance, and maintainability
• Integrate LLMs into backend services and products using APIs
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
• Write and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, and API layers
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and senior leaders in an agile Scrum team

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep hands-on Python experience in production environments
• Strong fundamentals in system design, clean architecture, testing, and design patterns
• Exposure to AI/LLMs, including using them in workflows and integrating into backend services
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Background in fintech, financial services, or data-intensive systems
• Experience with mixed stacks (Python with .NET/JavaScript)
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, guardrails, latency optimization, and cost management
• Running Python services in Azure or other clouds
