What you will do

• Lead the establishment and operational setup of the new Liège office, including local networking and commercial activity.
• Deliver fire and life safety consulting projects across the Walloon region and wider Belgium.
• Drive business development initiatives to identify opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
• Translate client needs into bespoke consultancy and engineering solutions.
• Lead proposal preparation, bids, and client presentations to grow the regional portfolio.
• Support the recruitment, mentoring, and development of junior engineers as the office grows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fire safety engineering or technical consulting, ideally within the Walloon market.
• Track record of developing client relationships and winning new work.
• Fluency in French is essential.
• Good command of English is required.
• Strong understanding of Belgian fire safety regulations and standards, including Walloon regional requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Dutch.
• Experience leading market expansion or office setup.
