Location: Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid) with required in-person onboarding and travel to San Francisco, CA HQ or Chicago office in first week. OTE ranges tied to specific US states: California (excl. SF Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, Washington.

Salary: $224,000–$308,000 USD (California excl. SF Bay Area, etc.); $200,000–$247,000 USD (SF Bay Area)

What you will do

• Partner with Senior R&D leaders on strategic headcount allocation and organizational structures aligned to technical roadmaps.
• Manage end-to-end headcount lifecycle, including position detailing, org design changes, and internal mobility.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR Operations to maintain Workday as single source of truth with 100% data accuracy.
• Liaise between FP&A and Recruiting to align headcount targets with budgets and hiring velocity.
• Develop and execute change management strategies and communication plans for resource shifts.
• Support HR on restructures and sensitive transactions, plus oversee R&D financial reporting and tax credits.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years cross-functional experience in Program/Project Management, Finance, Operations, HR/Workforce Management
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) required
• Proven track record managing multi-million dollar budgets and large-scale programs
• Exceptional navigation of complex org dynamics, influencing VP/C-suite stakeholders
• Masterful communication synthesizing data into executive narratives
• Strong program management, problem-solving, detail-oriented execution in fast-paced technical environment

Nice to have

• Prior experience in high-growth SaaS or Cloud Computing, understanding engineering/product talent needs
