What you will do

• Act as a lead Individual Contributor to improve Query services, focusing on improving speeds, throughput, and latency.
• Develop new network data observability and intelligence features in collaboration with customer service, product, and engineering teams.
• Drive platform-wide query standards by collaborating with engineering, support, and sales teams.
• Solve high-visibility, challenging engineering problems related to the data-intensive query engine.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Go, C, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Proven track record of optimizing distributed systems to handle hundreds of millions of data points per second.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for a remote-first environment.

• Deep experience with query planning, optimization, and execution in distributed environments.
